How Delivery Works at the Marriott Downtown
Standard bell-stand hand-off. We deliver ahead of your check-in — typically before noon on your arrival day — and tag the scooter with your name and stay dates. The bell captain holds it, and you take possession at check-in along with your room key and luggage. No front-desk rental agreement, no hotel-side paperwork. The bell staff here know our workflow; this is a long-standing delivery relationship.
Departure: return to the bell stand on checkout morning; we collect the same day on whatever schedule fits.
Accessibility at the Marriott Downtown
The Marriott Downtown is a large full-service property with two towers (Muehlebach historic + main Marriott tower) and a substantial public-space footprint. ADA accessibility across the property includes:
- Accessible rooms on multiple floors in both towers (request at booking)
- Roll-in showers and accessible bathrooms
- Elevator access between all guest floors and public areas
- Accessible seating at the hotel restaurants and lobby bar
- Accessible valet and self-park options
Muehlebach Tower is the historic side (original 1910s hotel) — accessibility features here are retrofitted but fully functional. The main Marriott Tower is newer construction with ADA built in from the ground up.
What’s Walkable From the Marriott Downtown
- Bartle Hall / Kansas City Convention Center — ~3 blocks south, flat roll, working curb cuts
- T-Mobile Center — 4 blocks southeast, a convenient pre-concert walk
- Power & Light District — 2 blocks east, a dense dining and entertainment cluster
- KC Streetcar — multiple stops within 2 blocks, free to ride, connects to Crossroads, River Market, and now the Plaza
- Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts — ~5 blocks southwest
For convention attendees who want a central downtown base with maximum walkability, the Marriott Downtown is one of the most-requested stays in our delivery network.
