How Delivery Works at the Sheraton OP
Standard Marriott bell-stand workflow. We deliver ahead of your check-in; the bell captain stages the scooter and hands it to you at arrival along with your luggage. No rental paperwork on the hotel side.
The Sheraton OP has our workflow on file — a long-standing convention-hotel delivery relationship.
Accessibility at the Sheraton OP
Full Marriott-standard accessibility with the OPCC-connected layout:
- Enclosed walkway to the Overland Park Convention Center — step-free, elevator-accessible
- Accessible rooms on multiple floors with roll-in showers, accessible vanities, and scooter-compatible room dimensions
- Accessible meeting and event space (the hotel hosts its own meetings in addition to the OPCC)
- Accessible dining at the on-property restaurant and bar
- Valet and self-park both with accessible options
For multi-day OPCC conventions, rolling from the hotel room to the show floor entirely indoors is a significant winter advantage.
What’s Walkable
- Overland Park Convention Center — directly connected
- College Boulevard corridor — restaurants, retail, and other hotels within a block or two, but Johnson County sidewalk infrastructure is inconsistent; short trips work, longer ones benefit from a rideshare
- Topgolf, Scheels, and Johnson County’s larger retail cluster — short drive, not walkable
